Red Alert! Red Alert!
This is NOT a drill!!!
Pumpkin spice products have hit the market again! It\’s beginning to get spooky!
If you\’re like me, you can\’t get enough pumpkin spice. It\’s like the McRib or Summer Cookouts. When it\’s time…it\’s time.
But why am I talking to you about pumpkin spice? Why am I talking about it here on a blog about witchcraft? Because, my young Padawan, pumpkin spice, or more correctly pumpkin pie spice, just so happens to be a pre-packed spell kit.
Allspice, Cinnamon, Ginger and Nutmeg, the four ingredients in pumpkin pie spice, all happen to have the same uses within witchcraft. These spices are useful on their own, but extremely useful in combination when used for prosperity and luck Magick.
You can sprinkle pumpkin spice over a candle or toss a handful in a bonfire to empower a spell used for finding a new career path. They can also be used to improve your enjoyment of your current career. A tea made of pumpkin spice can, once cooled, be used in a bathing ritual for improving a financial situation. If you are a wiz in the kitchen, you might focus some intention and energy into some pumpkin spice muffins while you bake them, and then share them with your coworkers or when networking.
We\’ve talked before about how almost everything in your spice cabinet can be used with some kind of Magick, but in this time of year, nothing is quite as wrapped up with a bow as pumpkin pie spice. Delicious and potent.
